Kitchen Before RefacingWhen James Bartol, Founder of Kitchen Mart, opened our remodeling business in 1976, his main focus was to offer home owners an economical way to update their cabinetry. This was called cabinet refacing.

There are many terms for this process such as resurfacing or refacing, not to be confused with refinishing.

Cabinet refacing is a process that will completely change the look of your space. Kitchen Mart applies a wood or thermo-foil veneer over your existing cabinetry frame and brand new doors and drawer fronts to match. The options for refacing today are practically limitless compared to the start of our company in 1976!

Along with updating the exterior of your cabinetry, you can also update your cabinets by adding convenience items to the interior. These options can include items such as: brand new full extension soft close drawers, roll-outs, waste/recycle bins and more. You can even convert your old cabinets to accommodate more drawers instead of the existing doors. No more crawling around on your hands and knees to get in the back of the cabinet or sending a small child in there to find that pan lid.
