Cabinet Refacing
Half the Time, Mess & Cost
Refacing, a process that applies a new veneer or laminate over your existing cabinetry and adds custom doors and drawer fronts to match, is the quickest, most economical and least disruptive way to create your new kitchen. As the old cabinets are not removed, refacing does not disrupt your existing countertop either!
You may choose an entirely different style and/or type of material, such as a lighter color of wood or a laminate. At Kitchen Mart, we reface using only the highest quality cabinet doors, manufactured by Decorative Specialties. To view the various door styles they offer, please visit their website by clicking here.
Here’s what we do…
- Remove and discard old doors, drawer fronts, hinges and trim.
- Bond wood or laminate veneers to all exterior surfaces of the cabinets.
- Install new doors, drawer fronts, semi-concealed hinges and new trim as necessary.

Refacing makes sense if your existing cabinets are structurally sound and the basic design/layout of the kitchen is fine. New cabinets, such as adding a pantry, can be constructed to match the refaced portion of the kitchen.
Options include new, easy-to-clean drawers, new rollouts for those base cabinets, tilt trays, new solid wood breadboards, lazy-susans for blind corners, glass doors, and many more.
Modifications can also be made to your existing cabinets, such as; modify wall oven cabinet to a pantry with rollouts, convert a trash compactor opening to usable drawer space, modify hood opening to accommodate a new microwave/hood combo.
Kitchen Mart guarantees the veneer bonding for a full five years!! The remainder of the project carries a one-year warranty… much longer than the standard 90 days that most items or services offer.
With any reface, Kitchen Mart can also provide a new countertop. We are a DuPont Corian® certified fabricator, so we specialize in Corian® countertops. Please see our Countertops section for all the options available.
Plus, Kitchen Mart will do all the plumbing and electrical work. We can reconnect your sink and faucet, install your appliances and provide additional outlets or recessed can lights and a wide variety of other options.
In just 5-10 days, your kitchen can be transformed into the envy of the neighborhood — WITHOUT the mess and expense of new cabinets.
